TCP: Inception

I have watched Inception more than two weeks ago at SM Cinema with Ate Jeni (my sponsor) and Rhyz. Ate Jeni said it was her second time to watch the movie but love the movie so much that she never get tired of watching it over and over again.
And yes, true to her words, the movie is indeed so mind-boggling that if you haven't watch the first scene you will find it really vague. Leonardo played his role so well (as expected). The cinematography and the effects are well done. We were able to watch on its last full show so I didn't get the chance of watching it all over again. Right after the movie, ate jeni asked me if how many times did Leonardo dreamed, I said four but shew insisted on five.... Well, whatever, I cannot argue  with her because that was her second or third time... Wondering? Watch it so you will know :)

TCP: 300

When I watched this movie, one adjective that I could best describe about the story is SPLENDID! Well, splendid in the sense that I love the plot of the story though it is really bloody... This movie is full of mixed emotions. The cinematography was really creatively done. Kudos to the Director and the people who gave life to its characters. Can you still remember Gerard Butler who plays Leonidas, the Spartan who leads an army of 300 against a Persian invasion.I am pretty sure that most of us never missed to watch this... However, I do insist to feature this movie to give us some sort of a review... Can you still remember the famous yell of the leading man? SPARTAN...!

Mr.  A. O. SCOTT has something good to say about this movie on his review. Check it out.

TCP: A Time To Kill (1996)

The time I learned the theme for this week's episode of TCP, this is the first movie that came to my mind. I love how Samuel Jackson and Sandra Bullock portrayed their role as the father and the lawyer respectively. A story of racial discrimanation, how the justice deals about it, and how the father intend to put the justice on his hands. Indeed, there's a time for everything... a time to cry, a time to die and a TIME TO KILL. The movie is based from a novel written by best seller author John Grisham .
A lawyer and his assistant fighting to save a father on trial for murder. A time to question what they believe. A time to doubt what they trust. And no time for mistakes.

TCP: Mano Po

Hi I'm back! After a long absence from TCP memes here I am...

While others go for international movies for this week's theme about girl Power, I will go for the local one.  For this week, I choose MANO PO 6 topbilled by Ms. Sharon Cuneta who was awarded as Best Actress for the 2009 MMFF with Ms. Heart Evangelista as Best Supporting Actress. I wasn't able to watch the movie but I am looking forward to watch it if my schedules loosen :) From the trailer alone, I could say that they both deserve the said honor...

This is a story of a mother's love to her daughter...

Check it out to the theater near you...
